Beginner divers will have the chance to learn to dive in a single day and discover the beauty of the Big Island's underwater world under the guidance of a professional instructor. The course includes a pool and theory session, a one-tank boat dive, all scuba equipment, and instructions. The theory session teaches students the basic rules for scuba diving (dealing with water pressure, breathing on scuba, etc.) The use of scuba equipment is demonstrated and students practice using it before entering the swimming pool where they will learn safe diving skills.
