During President’s Club, you and your guest are invited to enjoy one hosted activity per person on Friday, March 31. Activity choices must be made prior to Friday, February 24. After February 24 you may not change your activity. We will reconfirm your selected activity at check-in on March 30. We regret that any cancellations or changes to an activity that has been confirmed will result in the forfeiture of your hosted activity for that day.
ATV
An exciting ATV tour that takes you on a trail through many unseen parts of the north of the island of Saint Lucia. Our tour guide will take you on a journey through a network of exciting riding trails that begin in the area of Babonneau. Witness the stunning vistas, glimpses of country life in action, ride through farms/plantations, revel in the scenery of the lush mountainside views. Take a peek back in time as you pause and visit a water wheel from the grand old days of 1789. Originally for the sugar industry in Soufriere, then transferred to Marquis Estate in the 1950’s, to generate electricity. Top this off with a majestic view of the Atlantic shore at Grande Anse, tropical paradise at your feet!

Kayaking Expedition
This expedition is designed for the novice looking for a moderate kayak challenge. Follow the coastline, visit the picturesque Marigot Bay, the navigable Roseau River and continue along the island’s west coast traversing the quaint fishing village of Anse La Raye en route to the Anse Cochon Marine Park, where you will explore the most popular snorkeling sites. At this point, you will enjoy a relaxing beach picnic and a moment for swimming and snorkeling. The kayaking enthusiast will return to Marigot Bay either by boat or kayak, the option is yours. This tour gives will give you a sense of accomplishment while viewing the most beautiful views that Marigot Bay has to offer on the water.

Rainforest Hike & Creole Lunch
Named for St. Lucia's proud symbol, the Jacquot or Amazona Versicolor parrot, the Jacquot Trail immerses hikers in the wonder of the island's best asset: NATURE. The hike affords wonderful opportunities to learn about St. Lucia's flora and fauna as an experienced Nature Interpreter guides you across ravines and creeks deeper into the mature rainforest. Experience the transformative power of nature. Hike in the heart of the rainforest amidst the mighty chatannier and the fragrant gommier, listen for the call of the parrot, and enjoy the bustling stillness of nature. Begin a gradual ascent into the mature Caribbean Oceanic forest and get up close and personal with the mighty chatannier, an impressive hardwood with expansive buttress root systems or the incredible strangler ficus which grows around the host tree in an interlocking lattice before replacing it entirely. The hike affords wonderful opportunities to learn about St Lucia’s flora and fauna as experienced Nature Interpreters guide you across ravines and creeks deeper into the mature forest. Spot giant ferns and remarkable epiphytes, and keep your eyes peeled for the trail’s namesake and a host of other birdlife, and learn how the bountiful forest was an integral part of traditional St Lucian life, for food, medicine and materials. End the tour with a traditional creole lunch and taste the local flare.

Rhythm of Rum & Castries Central Market
Saint Lucia Distillers offers an extensive line of specialty rums and liqueurs for tasting. Guests will visit the distillery where it becomes clear that the making of rum has its own distinct rhythm and flavor. From the molasses tanks holding the dark viscous and aromatic raw material to the open vats where final fermentation takes place. Visitors are encouraged to engage all the senses to understand the unique phenomenon that is rum making. Beautiful copper stills dominate the main floor, where guests can observe the progressive distilling process with an opportunity to see and smell the spirit at its various stages. As you walk around the tasting displays, you will learn about the history of sugar and rum in St. Lucia, the distillation process, colorful displays of Saint Lucia Carnival culture. Amidst it all, try to keep your head clear! We will wrap up the distillery tour with a of tasting of the wide range of rums and rum based creams and liqueurs produced at St. Lucia Distillers Ltd. You will have the opportunity to purchase of these rum products at the “Rhum Shoppe” and bring some back home!
From the distillery, the day continues on to the Castries Central Market. The market is located in the middle of the capital and has over 300 regular vendors and a hundred or more local sellers on market days. The market was constructed in 1891 by building engineers Bruce & Still Ltd., of Liverpool. The market has become the central hub for buying almost anything (natural produce and goods) and offers numerous local cuisine and crafts for purchase.

With its pristine and highly diverse coral reefs, steep walls, pinnacles and shipwrecks, this island offers the visitor the ideal underwater adventure. Visit shipwrecks in Anse Cochon, wall and or drift dive in Soufriere, night dive or simply beach dive at Anse Chastanet or Anse Cochon. Triple Escapade
Combine the relaxing aerial tram ride, with a short and rugged hike and a zip line course high up in the canopy of the majestic rainforest trees. A trial zip line at base camp and a short training session prepare the intrepid for the day’s adventure. The Ultimate tour begins with a gondola ride into the thick of the Caribbean Oceanic forest past ancient trees, persistent vines and animated birdlife. At top station disembark for a short hike on a trail which wends its way through the magnificent mature forest, past some impressive buttress root systems and to the first zip-line platform. Experience the thrill of gliding through the tree canopy high above the bustle of the city, in the cool verdant air of the forest. Knowledgeable guides take you through the paces as you zip from platform to platform suspended in the sturdy trunks of these stoic trees. Hike a short distance to meet the tram for the final descent. Suspended above the forest canopy with commanding views of the island, the gondolas deliver thrill seekers safely to base camp.
