1. May I bring a guest to Alteryx President’s Club 2018?
Yes!  You are welcome to bring one adult guest (21 years and older) to Alteryx President’s Club.  Children will not be allowed to attend, as President’s Club is an adults-only retreat.
 
2. What is included in the program?
Two roundtrip coach class tickets from your home city to Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport (BCN) in Barcelona, transfer to and from the airport (if traveling on main program dates), four nights stay at Hotel Arts Barcelona, all meals and select hosted activities of your choice.
 
3. Can I expense my meals? 
Meals purchased while traveling to and departing from the program are allowable expenses.  All other meals during the week will be provided as listed:

  Business Meeting, Lunch at Group Activity Day, Dinner at Leisure

4. How do I make dinner reservations for the free night during President's Club (Thursday, May 9th)?

5. How do I book my flight?
During registration, you will be asked to input your flight information.  The President’s Club Registration Team will email you an itinerary to approve.  Once approved, e-tickets will be issued and sent via email.  Please note that you may not book your own flight separately, and that all changes and/or cancellations must be communicated through the Alteryx Registration and Travel Team.  Any non-program related changes to your approved flights are at your own expense.
 
6. What travel expenses are allowable?
You can expense travel to and from your departure airport, airport parking, and two regular baggage fees per person.  Overweight bags/additional luggage will be at your own expense.  Please use your best judgment and follow corporate policies for evaluating the most cost-effective travel options to the airport. 
 
7. How do I get from the airport to Hotel Arts Barcelona?
Alteryx will provide transportation from Barcelona El Prat International Airport  (BCN) to the hotel on main travel dates only.  The main arrival date is May 8th, and the main departure date is May 12th.  Upon your arrival at Barcelona El Prat International Airport (BCN), please make your way through immigration, customs and baggage clearance.  As you exit the area, look for local staff holding an Alteryx sign at the arrival hall who will escort you to your transportation.  Transfer time from the airport to the hotel is approximately 15 minutes.
 
8. Do I need a credit card for my incidental charges at Hotel Arts Barcelona?
Yes.  As a standard hotel check-in procedure, Hotel Arts will collect a credit card from all guests (debit cards are NOT accepted).  This card will be authorized for €150 (approximately $175 USD) to guarantee your incidental charges such as in-room mini-bar, movies, telephone charges, laundry, etc.  Upon check-out, you are responsible for settling your own account.  If you do not have a credit card, please contact the President's Club Registration Team before traveling to Barcelona.
 
9. Can I reserve an additional hotel room?
You can reserve an additional room at Hotel Arts Barcelona at your own cost.  This will be based on hotel availability at the time of the request. Please indicate this preference on the hotel page of the registration process, or contact the President's Club Registration Team directly for assistance.
 
10. Can I extend my stay in Barcelona?
If you would like to extend your stay at your own expense at the Hotel Arts Barcelona, before or after the group stay, please contact the President's Club Registration Team. The Alteryx discount group rate is available three nights pre- & post- program. Rooms are subject to availability and are on a first-come, first served basis.  If you must change or cancel your pre- or post- stay, please notify the President's Club Registration Team by Friday, April 5th to avoid a cancellation penalty.
 
11. Will I be able to use my electrical appliances in the hotel?
The electric current is 220 volts throughout Spain with 2 pin wall sockets.  This differs from the standard U.S. electrical plugs, so you may want to bring an adapter.
 
12. Does the hotel have internet?
Yes, complimentary basic internet access is available in each guest room and throughout the public areas of the hotel. 
 
13. Will my cellular phone work in Barcelona?
Please check with your individual provider for your cell phone plan’s roaming coverage.  Please note, international roaming fees can be quite costly, so we highly recommend researching the fees in advance!  Barcelona’s international dialing code is +(34). 
 
14. What attire is appropriate?
Barcelona weather is mild this time of year. We suggest light-weight resort casual attire including sundresses, shorts, t-shirts, light-weight coat, sandals, comfortable walking shoes, athletic shoes, etc. Our gala event is cocktail attire. For women: cocktail dresses/jumpsuits/suits. For men: Suit or dress slacks with coat. Tie is optional. Please click here for more information.
 
15. Does the Hotel Arts have a loyalty program?
The Hotel Arts Barcelona is a Ritz-Carlton property and is part of the Marriott Rewards/Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.  Click here for more information.
 
16. If I cannot attend President's Club, may I receive equivalent compensation or gift my place to another associate?
There is no cash substitution for missing travel to Barcelona for President's Club. You are also unable to reassign your spot to someone else.
