Travel Information
Airfare
Airfare is coordinated by the President's Club Registration Team for you and your guest. During registration, you will be asked for you and your guest's preferred travel information as well as legal names, dates of birth, passport details and frequent flier numbers. The President's Club Registration Team will email you an itinerary to approve. Once approved, e-tickets will be issued and sent via email. We will do our best to accommodate any airline preference; however, the option presented will be the best fare available that is accommodated by the Vensure budget. You will have the option to pay the difference in cost, from best fare, if you choose a preferred itinerary, preferred airline, or wish to travel on non-program dates. Any non-program related changes to your approved flights and any deviation from the best fare on program dates are at your own expense.

Roundtrip airport transportation to Secrets Maroma Beach is provided for you and your guest.
Time Zone

Travel Documents
Please make sure that you have the proper documents to enter Mexico. United States citizens are required to present passports that are valid at least six months beyond your planned date of departure regardless of age. All airlines flying to Mexico will provide you with a Tourist Card and instructions. Keep a copy of your Tourist Card in a safe place as you will need this document upon departure from Mexico.
Arriving in Mexico
Upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport (CUN), you will pass through Immigration and present the Mexican immigration agent with your passport. You will then claim your luggage and proceed through customs to declare any goods. Once through immigration, please look for a greeter with a Vensure President's Club sign. They will escort you to the shuttle that will take you to the hotel.
Currency
The unit of currency in Mexico is the peso. An American Dollar is equivalent to about 20 Mexican Pesos, depending on the fluctuations of the market. Although most businesses will accept foreign currency, especially U.S. dollars, using pesos is often best. Credit cards are also widely accepted with Visa, MasterCard and American Express being the most popular. For current exchange rates, please click here.
Electric Current
110 Volts, 60 Cycles AC, same as in United States and Canada.
Sunscreen
In an effort to preserve the beautiful coral reefs, only Biodegradable Sunscreen can be used if you visit anywhere in the Riviera Maya, including Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Cozumel.

Cellular Phones
U.S. cell phone plans will incur roaming charges in Mexico. Please check with your individual provider about international calling and data plans. Please note, international roaming fees can be quite costly, so we highly recommend researching the fees in advance! Using apps like Skype and WhatsApp will allow you to make calls over a Wi-Fi connection without using your data plan.
