Frequently Asked Questions
 
1. Can I bring a guest?
Alteryx meetings and events are for colleagues only, including group meals. Guests are not allowed to attend this conference or any conference-related activities.
 
2. Will I need to attend all the planned functions?
Your day will be packed with programs and training, Each event is mandatory because we know that everyone's participation will greatly benefit the entire sales team. In addition to the General Session and Breakout Sessions, you will also be required to attend the evening events held each night.
 
3. How do I get from the airport to The Hilton Anaheim?
The hotel is 17 minutes (12 Miles) from John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA), 25 minutes (17.3 Miles) from Long Beach Airport (LGB), and 51 minutes (34.4 Miles) from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are all available options of convenient transportation to the hotel. Please feel free to share rides with any Alteryx attendees that might be on a similar travel itinerary.
 
4.  Can I expense my meals?
All meals will be provided during program dates. Meals purchased while traveling to and departing from the program are allowable expenses.
 
5. Can I expense my travel to and from my home and my originating airport (including airport parking)?
Yes, but please use your best judgment and follow corporate policies for evaluating the most cost-effective travel options to the airport.
 
6. I'm new to Alteryx and don't have access to booking air travel in the Concur system, what should I do?
Please book the travel through Kayak or Expedia for a good rate and expense the cost in Concur once you join the company.  If you need support covering the cost, please contact your new manager to consolidate your request with all the other requests and send to Grace Villagrana: gvillagrana@alteryx.com. 
 
7. Will I have a hotel room for the conference?
To meet our room block commitment, associates who do not live in the Orange County area are required to stay at the Hilton Anaheim (the official SKO hotel).  Please note Irvine office attendees are required to travel to and from the hotel daily.  Local attendees who wish to stay at the Hilton Anaheim instead of commuting daily, may request a hotel room during registration at the discounted room rate of $179.00++/night.  This will be at your own cost and is not an approved expense.
 
8. What if I want to extend my stay in Anaheim?
If you would like to extend your stay at the Hilton Anaheim before or after the program dates, the negotiated rate of $179.00 plus tax, per room, per night would be at your expense. The discounted rate is available three nights pre & post program. Rooms are subject to availability, and are on a first-come, first serve basis.  SKO program dates are January 28-31 (three nights).
 
9. I would like to arrive early on Sunday and go to Disneyland.  How can I get tickets?
Disneyland is in very close proximity to the Hilton Anaheim.  To get tickets ahead of time, please click here.
 
10. What attire is appropriate?
General attire for the program is business casual.
